Maybe we should be a little goofier...

Yesterday as I was pulling out the the supermarket, I saw a cute little old man get into his very expensive and nice Mercedes Convertible and put on a pair of giant novelty sunglasses.  He had a big smile on his face as he peeled out onto the street.

I had to laugh. He looked absurd. If I was related to him, I probably would have been embarrassed. He looked certifiably insane. A crazy person.

I looked about the parking lot and everyone had a smile on their face. They were laughing with him. He was spreading joy.  Perhaps I need to be a little sillier as I age. Anyone with me?

  1. I love a good laugh...I would have been laughing, as I said , "that guy's nuts." LOL I really try to keep my sense of humor..it gets me through some hard times. I wish we could teach our children to laugh things off at a young age. When I was young, I suffered because I did know I could use humor to make light of pain. Get yourself a pair of those glasses sweet Japoilna.:):) xoxo,Susie

  2. I definitely think silliness is underrated-let's just do it! (Will you come bail me out if I'm arrested?)

  4. You are so right! It wouldn't hurt any of us to take things less seriously sometimes. Life is hard enough as it is. I think that's cute that that man did that. Somehow I don't think a younger person would've come off as cute doing that though. LOL!

Yes, we need to be sillier, don't we?
