Maybe we should be a little goofier...


Yesterday as I was pulling out the the supermarket, I saw a cute little old man get into his very expensive and nice Mercedes Convertible and put on a pair of giant novelty sunglasses.  He had a big smile on his face as he peeled out onto the street.

 I had to laugh. He looked absurd. If I was related to him, I probably would have been embarrassed. He looked certifiably insane. A crazy person. 

 I looked about the parking lot and everyone had a smile on their face. They were laughing with him. He was spreading joy.  Perhaps I need to be a little sillier as I age. Anyone with me?

    I love a good laugh...I would have been laughing, as I said , "that guy's nuts." LOL I really try to keep my sense of humor..it gets me through some hard times. I wish we could teach our children to laugh things off at a young age. When I was young, I suffered because I did know I could use humor to make light of pain. Get yourself a pair of those glasses sweet Japoilna.:):) xoxo,Susie

    yeah- Gotta love a guy like that. My youngest son is like that...always leaves people smiling for one goofy reason or another- xo Diana

    You are so right! It wouldn't hurt any of us to take things less seriously sometimes. Life is hard enough as it is. I think that's cute that that man did that. Somehow I don't think a younger person would've come off as cute doing that though. LOL!
