You know that I don't like to complain but...

Monday, March 10, 2014

Well, I do like to complain (I can't help it, it is in my DNA. I come from a long line of bitchers and moaners). Regardless, I don't like to complain on my blog that much because, really, who likes a whiner other than other whiners?

This is what I look like today but less smiley!

Too bad, so sad. I am whiny today.  I'm tired and  cranky and hate that Daylight Savings Time started this week! My son's school starts at 7:20 a.m. He has to be at the Bus Stop at 6:30. This is insane in itself, but the fact that the sun is not supposed to  rise today until 7:40 a.m., makes it totally crazy!

It's bad enough to have cranky teenagers in my house.  I'm glad that I'm not the teacher trying to educate a class of 16 year old zombies while it is still dark outside!

Who is responsible for this stupid early Daylight Savings Time? Who do I direct my complaints to? Barack Obama?  Valdimir Putin? The boss of the sun? NASA?

I do love when the sun does not set until late during the summer but it is still officially winter, even here in Miami. I'm not happy...

Oh do you know what I did? I set my clocks as instructed but forgot that I don't live in America, ours doesn't change for three weeks, packed husband off yesterday, packed myself off - an hour too early.
Still in the doghouse.

Our dog has fallen for DST. He now sleeps an extra hour (as do I). Other than that, I don't have much good to say about it. Now schools that begin in the dark, don't get me started!!! Linda@Wetcreek Blog

Japolina, You have the right to Whine, as you say. Getting kids out of bed at any hour would make me whine.LOL It takes a while I think to adjust...maybe when the sun does come up before the kids are on the corner will help. I sure did not want to get out of bed this morning. One day, maybe when I am in my 90's, I might take a nap. Blessings sweet girl, xoxo,Susie

Oh, don't get me started. I missed church yesterday because I just couldn't get myself up. And today I woke up 15 minutes before I had to leave for work. I am not a happy camper. I guess this is a whine too, but I'm old and entitled to it.

I now live in Mountain Standard time NO TIME CHANGE !
I love it.
Before I moved back to Tucson the last two time changes were just awful for me. It took me forever to get use to it.

I say plus or minus a half hour and don't keep fiddling around with the back and forth a hour and just keep it that way.
And call it a day !

cheers, parsnip

I'm all for abolishing this awful practice! Last time it took Aria for-ev-er to get use to it. This time she seems to be having zero issues, however her mother is all sorts of out of whack. It was a minimal disturbance before having a kid, now it is like the world is ending. It is a pure hatred now. Esp that fall back one, that one is the worst. I like your selfie today, is your hair also the same colour?

LMHO - it's such an antiquated thing isn't it?
I think It was a Canadian that invented it which is even funnier ( to this Canadian anyway )
It really doesn't make sense anymore but I really really love the extra daylight in the evening......
Bitch away - I've been bitching for 4 months ( since we bought this dump )
XOXO

Where are you? Come back to the blogisphere - you're missed! (I agree with the DST - if some states "opt out" why can't the entire country?!)
