The worst book that I have ever read...

Monday, February 11, 2013

I hate to be negative but I just finished the worst novel ever. I was an English major in college and I have read a lot of books. I love books.

This book was stupid. The main character, Terry,  is a 40 year old loving nurse who is also very pretty. She has no friends. None. She rents out her lovely guest cottage to a 20 something girl who is up to no good and hangs out with a bad crowd.  Terry becomes besties with the tenant.

I don't want to give the ending away but it there was a twist and even dumber than the plot.

I finished it in the waiting room of a doctor's office and it was so bad that I left the book in the waiting room along with copies of People Magazine from February 2012.

I try to give a book at lest two chapters but sometimes you need to just cut and run.
For me the worst book was The Pig Did It, or something like that. I thought it was going to be a P.G. Wodehouse Life at Blanding type of book but it was boring and dragged. I have been thinking of dumping it by a drive-by at a Thrift Shop drop-off at midnight just so one would see me and think I read it.

Japolina, The sad thing is , there are more bad books than good. It's big pain trying to read anything that just doesn't hold your interest. As Mr. T would say, pity the fool, who picks that book up at the drs. office .LOL xo, Susie

Good for you for finishing it. I started it and just couldn't get into it. I am not a fan of books that keep repeating ideas and don't have a good plot. I don't think I will ever read another of her books, either. xo Diana
